The NOAA Space Weather Scales describe the environmental disturbances for three event types: geomagnetic storms, solar radiation storms, and radio blackouts asocoated with obervations: Kp index, GOES proton flux, and GOES X-ray flux, respectively. SWOO/CWA converts last observation to this scales and show on the webpage for general public.
